Blakes Wedding

I sure didn't do a very good job at getting pictures of this event.  The only reason we got a family picture is because I insisted on it and it almost didn't even happen then.

I have no pictures of the bride and groom, my family or anyone at the temple.  Somebody fire me now.  I know what it was.  I had a baby and a 2 year old.  That's my excuse for SLACKING!!

It was a pleasant day.  I fed Livi on the way to the temple, we got there andI handed the girls off to Kallie, Natalie, Mckenna, and Isabelle hoping everything would be fine, and Allen and I headed into the Temple.  Salt Lake has one of the largest waiting rooms, but with over 100 wedding that day I had a feeling it wasn't going to big enough. (we first heard it was 91 then 98 then 102 and I think the last # we heard that day from workers was 104) Crazy if you ask me!!!  The Sealer was a bit long winded and basically told the love story of Isaac and Rebekah.  You could see the happiness on Blake and Misha face.  I wish them the best.  Our girls were in good hands even though there were a million people everywhere, we decided to go outside in the shade to see if was any cooler. (it wasn't but I didn't feel so claustrophobic)  .  While we waited for for the newly married pair to come out of the temple, the children started to get ancy.  We stayed long enough to get a group shot and a family shot.  Things sure roll out different when you have children.  Looking back I would have tried to stay a bit longer.  They were already upset, and I don't like to be the first ones to leave something...I don't know why, but I never have. Oh Well...!!!

The next day we went to breakfast at the hotel, went swimming and enjoyed the afternoon at the zoo.  If you ask me it was genius the way the day played out.  They slept almost the whole way home.  Allen and I actually got to talk and enjoy a ride in the car considering all the car rides we've been on in the last 3 months. (too many)

Oh ya I forgot to mention, WE feel pretty proud of ourselves that we found Blake and Misha's car after they vauled it and thought it was safe.  Ha Ha  Todd was the crude one!!!!

Spring Cleaning, Garden, and Yard!!!!!

I have to say I have a busy few weeks cut out for me.  Since I was unmotivated last year for spring cleaning (because I was pregnant) I am two years behind instead of one!!!!  I can say that every fan blade is white again, the baseboards don't look grungy, the floor under the fridge and stove are clean and I definitely feel better about myself....whenever the house is clean, I feel at ease!!!!

Lets just say I haven't made it to the Garden, let alone the yard.  I think I would rather be outside getting these two thing taken care of first if it wasn't so dang cold, windy, and rainy :(   At this rate, I'm thinking middle of may. 

REcap oF 2010

I never thought we would get to 2005 let a lone 2011.  I graduated from high school in 2000...holy crap that was almost 11 years ago.  Time really does fly when you look back, doesn't it.  I am really going to try to recap 2010...so here goes......

January

Went to my first pregnancy doctors appointment...confirmed I was pregnant

Doctor thought we might be having twins

--wondering if I will ever feel normal again???--

Febuary

Had my first ultrasound, no twins, but it's a GIRL!!!!

Started blogging (or journal-ing)...to take my mind off my uncomfortableness and now I really enjoy it

Todd, my brother ended his first transfer in the mission field

I'm feeling sick, like it's my first month of being pregnant still

March

Definitely not a feel good month...morning and night sick and two ovarian cysts acting up

Had another ultrasound 

Spent a lot of time making baby blankets for me and my friends who were expecting

April

Finished the babies room

Installed a puppy ramp and door out the garage...best thing we ever did

Took a trip to utah to celebrate my brother Blake's byu graduation

Had another ultrasound, those darn cysts

May/June

The 2 busies months of the year and most done while being 8 months pregnant

May

Allen went to San Antonio and experienced the river walk and Alamo for the first time

I went to Utah to visit Kami and do a friends hair for her wedding in salt lake at 32 weeks pregnant...I'm crazy

Traveled to Gooding for Memorial Day

June

Planned Relief Society meetings for the rest of the year

Took another trip to Utah to attend a sealing for some friends

Baby showers...and a trip to the hospital because of contractions, false alarm

And yet another ultrasound...this is getting spendy

July

Traveled to Gooding for the 4th even though I shouldn't have considering by baby was born 10 days later

Addison was born on the 14th...mommy was out of it the rest of the month

August

We went to Bear lake...Addie is 3 1/2 weeks (Looking back I was a brave soul, but it did me good to get some fresh air)  The baby and I did great!

September

Blessed our beautiful baby...she is 2 months

Went to Sun Valley for vacation

Allen went to Atlanta for a trade show

October

Visited family in New Mexico...hadn't been home in 8 months

Had a baby pumpkin for Halloween...she was so cute

November

Had our first family Photo

Addison met Nanny and Papa for the first time (my moms parent)

Allen got called to the elders quorum

December

Addie had cereal for the first time

Had our first Christmas as parents, and we loved it

We had a great year full of changes and can't wait to see whats coming our way next!!!  

Staying Busy

Allen has been gone all week, so we've been trying to have fun so we don't miss him as much.  We went down to Allen's moms house and canned for 3 days, peaches, pears, and Tomatoes.  We came back and had a friend and her baby come and visit us from Logan.

               Addison and Kylie, her oldest girl cousin on Allen's side.

  Katie and Addison are 6 weeks apart so that is why Addie is quite a bit smaller than Katie.  We had fun!!!!

WHAT I've Been Up TOO!!

I have to say that the last weeks of pregnancy are the greatest......and I still have three to go.  Those are the ones that should be miserable, I'm sure they will be. Ha Ha (It doesn't sound like I'm staying positive, but I really am)

I've definitely stayed busy this JUNE!!!!  A wedding, Baby showers, baby's room, blanket making, flower planting, house cleaning and frankly I don't have the energy anymore.  I sure try to have the energy, but lets not kid ourselves....it's just not there!!!

Getting Addie's Room Ready:

I've had a hard time deciding what colors I wanted for the baby room.  I was going to go with pinkish mauve and brown, then Baby pink, green and a red pattern....but ended up choosing purple and pink.  I'm usually not much of a purple person, but the pattern is really cute.
         

I'm not finished yet, but here is what it looks like so far.....................

 

 

  I'm trying to find a cute shelf to put above the changing table, and we haven't decided on a glider yet but that will go where the swing is now..........

Making Blankets and a few more bows....just cause it's fun!!!!!!

FLOWERS....I love planting every year....but this year.....where is my energy????
